The ONWARD ‘08 exhibition was very well received. On the day of opening, the gallery was crowded with 200 people from in and outside of the city and as far north as Syracuse, NY and as far south as Raleigh, NC.
The show received positive reviews from local art reviewers. The first review was written by Libby Rosof on Artblog. In the article she writes about the diversity of the show and some of the photographers’ work in relation to the images we project of ours lives in modern society.
Also, Darla Jackson from Funnel Pages has written about some of the work she finds to connect on a visual as well as emotional level. The photographers she mentioned in the article include Meg Birnbaum, Chris Vivier, Jessica Roberts, and Laura Graham.
Now ONWARD ‘08 is showcased in our online gallery and will remain as an archive of our first and very successful juried exhibition.
